SmartBoard is in! Ideas needed!

I am SUPER excited to be getting a new SmartBoard because mine is an old dinosaur that takes forever to turn on and it never stays calibrated. If you have an interactive board in your class, how do you utilize it throughout the day? I just feel that I need to step-it-up and integrate it more into my curriculum & instruction.  Does anyone have anything that they do everyday on it?  What are the best websites to find interactive lesson?

P.S. I'm jealous that you are getting a new SmartBoard. I don't have one. :(

  2. Which version do you have?
The newer versions can do some really great things! You can copy your worksheets into a file. You can create a file for each day or subject that has your resources embedded in it! How fabulous is that! You don't have to open a new tab in your internet browser, you can embed them right into your file. Also, doing this you can remove the "ads" that pop up when showing videos on Youtube. The things you can do are endless! If you click on the little icon at the top that looks like a blue and white X-- Smart Exchange. Create a login (if you don't already have them) and download free resources! There are also templates for games such as Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Minute to Win It-- where you plug in your own vocabulary words and answers. Good luck!
